Follow Friday (32)

Follow Friday is hosted by Parajunkee and Allison Can Read. Visit either of their blogs for complete rules of the following fun!

This week's question:

"What book would you love to see made into a movie or television show and do you have actors/actresses in mind to play the main characters?"

I am awful at questions like this! I've seen too many good books ruined by movies or TV shows (the show Legend of the Seeker comes to mind...), and I never have picks for actors and actresses. Unless HBO was to make the Black Dagger Brotherhood into a TV show...

As for a YA book, I think Courtney Allison Moulton's books Angelfire and Wings of the Wicked would make great movies. So would Ally Carter's Gallagher Girls books.

What are your answers? Please leave a comment or a link to your blog!

  1. I just finished Angelfire and I love it, with all the action scenes it would make a great movie. I need to read BDB, everyone keeps telling me to do it but I haven't yet, hopefully soon. Have a great weekend, old follower ;)

  2. Sigh - Legend of the Seeker is one of my favorite book series, and I have to agree, the series was rubbish! But there have been some good book-movie/ tv adaptations - like Clash of Kings.

  4. Ooh, getting HBO to pick up the BDB for a series, would be in a word: EPIC! Seriously. And HBO is the only place that could do it justice. rotfl. This, I would LOVE to see. :)

Also, Courtney Allison Moulton's trilogy would be a great ya television show as well.

  7. PNR in general is probably best as a tv series. :-) I, too, had trouble answering the question at first. New follower! Happy Friday.
