I also loved Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game and have read it at least a dozen times. It was recommended to me multiple times before I finally broke down and actually read it. I have also gotten more 'into' sci-fi/fantasy since I read Ender's Game.
I read an older ARC version off of Netgalley and so only had it for a short amount of time. *keeps fingers crossed*
Happy Holidays!
~Jaclyn~
www.jaclynsmusings.comJaclynsMusingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14535511196615003987noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-40782543501067598582012-01-06T19:06:44.713-05:002012-01-06T19:06:44.713-05:00Thank you very much great blog tour!
Great giveaway thanks for the chance!latishajeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14684434404351430325noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-9889134332983783562012-01-05T23:18:17.584-05:002012-01-05T23:18:17.584-05:00Thanks for the giveaway!Vi Win Winhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10642043204866770027noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-66103318389096006292012-01-05T14:51:10.721-05:002012-01-05T14:51:10.721-05:00I have heard really good things about this book and I am glad that it is meeting up to all the hype. I'm looking forward to reading it!Tressahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14430957436125905043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-37744423845897617362012-01-05T10:43:44.814-05:002012-01-05T10:43:44.814-05:00Jackson was a great character and I'm so happy that Tempest was in his POV. It is so much fun reading through a guy because well there guys lol. Jackson is definitely no different he is a normal 19 year old. I especially love the fact that he is rich but he never rubs that in to anybody. He is just so real, minus the time travel part. The scenes with Jackson and Courtney, I was crying like everytime they were just so beautifully written. Jackson goes through so much but also comes away with a lot of knowledge and power it was amazing watching Jackson grow. The ending was a wow factor and I definitely need to read what happens next but sadly I have a much longer wait then some but it's worth it. Tempest is an amazing story and a great first book for a trilogy that will be equally amazing.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-23285344078328922202012-01-04T17:36:39.064-05:002012-01-04T17:36:39.064-05:00Thanks for the giveaway!Minashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04905134110148766948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-58293344412747600112012-01-04T15:28:20.004-05:002012-01-04T15:28:20.004-05:00I am so eager to read this book! Although sci-fi and fantasy seem to be more entwined these days and I have been a fan of Tolkien since elementary school days. The Time Traveler's Wife was a little confusing at times too, but in the end, well worth it and this story sounds like it is too.S.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14946888655088052095noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-65678516822701711702012-01-03T21:16:23.167-05:002012-01-03T21:16:23.167-05:00I'm very excited for this book, it looks so good!Ashleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08944231204750440665noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-48081002546054231282012-01-03T20:35:06.493-05:002012-01-03T20:35:06.493-05:00Thanks for the amazing giveaway!!
