I have THG on my list, and it seems like quite a few of the Top Ten Tuesday posters have one or both on theirs, as well - seems like a good many of us agree that they'd be great! I also have The Help on my list. It was SUCH a good book! Forbidden was a wonderful, powerful story that makes the reader think. Great list!Reehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09874208209515527125noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-13888533011613831302012-02-07T10:32:03.010-05:002012-02-07T10:32:03.010-05:00wow we have a lot of the same picks! Cool. Great choices.
http://janieraeldridge.blogspot.com/2012/02/top-ten-tuesday-5.htmlAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06419392169830704940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-78794882158789510992012-02-07T09:30:29.888-05:002012-02-07T09:30:29.888-05:00I do agree with your Twilight comment. The many people I have seen who have continued to read after picking that up. I would think an author should be flattered to have that influence and not necessarily that they made the best sellers list!!Dalene @ A Date with a Bookhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01486857267957308386noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-22179788488477576462012-02-07T08:19:17.784-05:002012-02-07T08:19:17.784-05:00Harry Potter and Hunger Games are both great picks for non readers!Trishhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18273468231529654323noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-86260516792379438882012-02-07T07:41:09.454-05:002012-02-07T07:41:09.454-05:00You're so right about Twilight. I've gotten so many people who don't typically read, hooked on those books. It's something that my friends and I have bonded over. I'm so sad to see it all end!pandalovesyouhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11130986556685775417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-71879549477070450172012-02-07T04:38:43.954-05:002012-02-07T04:38:43.954-05:00I think the topic needed to add HP just as a given since it's on so many people's lists (mine included!) - and I love the rest of yours! I too have some problems with Nicholas Sparks books, but they are quite accessible, relatable and readable. I'm a little fearful of reading Forbidden since I've seen such differing opinions on the matter; though every review I've seen definitely recommends to read it. I think I'll have to just do it to satisfy my curiosity!

Ashley
My Top Ten TuesdayAshley @ Ashley Loves Bookshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16855498046320276658noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-29173757612455246662012-02-07T01:13:35.428-05:002012-02-07T01:13:35.428-05:00I chose Harry Potter and The Hunger Games, as well! I for a very brief moment considered Twilight, since it has demonstrated success in this area, but I just couldn't bring myself to actually recommend it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1145370990319629197.post-64558149389080930832012-02-07T00:55:43.339-05:002012-02-07T00:55:43.339-05:00im so with you on Harry and Twilight!!! i think that those are going to be the top two for almost everyone!!!

Tara's Top TenTarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02512868770217256509noreply@blogger.com
